Spirit West Coast 2010 Brings Volunteer Prospects

Program Team Gains Dynamic Team Leads

May 2010 -- Stacy Henschel, local event and wedding planner who resides in Escondido, takes the lead on Gala coordination for SDCFF's Program Team. San Clemente resident Sue Eicherly takes on coordination of the Gala's silent auction and will devote additoinal time to assist with marketing and sponsorship solicitation. _______________________________________________________________________

Marketing Coordinator Comes On Board

May 2010 -- Piper Nadelle joins us with a background in Christian and secular film production – on both sides of the camera.  Her experience includes management and public relations for two live theatre companies. She has worked extensively as an Event Coordinator and is thrilled to be rolling up her sleeves for our first annual San Diego Christian Film Festival.

Volunteers for Key Positions Urgently Needed

May 1, 2010 -- The San Diego Christian Film Festival is actively recruiting for two high-level volunteer positions that will be pivotal in its success. The key positions are 1) Venue Store/Guest Svcs (store, vendor booths, guest svc) and 2) Hospitality (refreshement carts & VIP room). Volunteers From Around the U.S. Assist with Marketing Research

February 2010 -- San Diego volunteers Rachael Scott and Thedra Adams as well as Michigan volunteers Sherrian Greenwood, Andrea Newsome and Florida volunteer Chelsi Henri worked swiftly and diligently to help put together a nationwide and international database of film schools for "Call For Entry" e-blasts. Many thanks to this group for stepping in last minute to handle a critical need job!

Program Coordinator Comes on Board

January 2010 -- Solana Beach resident Marilyn Quinsaat has volunteered to be program coordinator. Marilyn, an educational software executive who plays a mean bass guitar, is already in negotiations with top choices for the location of the SDCFF awards gala. She also has been active in recruiting local performers for the SDCFF festival.
