Dear Former and Potential San Diego Christain Film Festival Volunteers!

Yes, it's that time again! We are getting everything organized for a smooth and well-run, wonderful film festival! Last year was great and this year promises to be another great event bringing excellent Christian films and workshops to the San Diego community. Please read through this to the end as it has some important information for you.

The dates for this year are the same as last year - Dec 27th-30th, 2011. This year we will be located at the La Jolla Marriott Hotel. They have given us tons more space and the time limitations are practically non-existent. We will even have our own volunteer lounge as an added benefit.

We will be having the Gala of course on the last night and a youth night. We also will have a night dedicated to some true heros of the Christian Faith and films to raise awareness about their work.

We have reorganized the areas for volunteering and have captains for different areas. We will also be having a volunteers training night so everyone can be up to speed on all the details that you will need so you will feel comfortable and well-grounded. I hope you will be as excited to be involved with this year's festival as I am.

The areas that we need volunteers are:

Ushers

Security

Church Liason

Film Bistro

Theater Projectionists

Librarian

Concession sales

Ticketing

Greeters

Social Media

If you would like to serve in one of these areas, please contact me at planetbubbleministries@gmail.com with the area you are interested in and the hours you are available. Please  be sure to let me know as soon as possible if you would like to participate as a volunteer so I can let you know when our orientation meeting is to be held. If you have already communicated to me about this then no need to do it again.

We can tell you now that SDCFF-2011 will be amazing. We have more workshops and more people that are hooking up with us from the industry. The films are outstanding again this year.  You will not want to miss this opportunity to be involved with us behind the scenes to make SDCFF another great success.
