2010 San Diego Christian Film Festival - Director's Circle

Do you love film, but have concerns about the ethical and moral state of today's movies? Would you like to make a difference, and help shape our culture?

Join the San Diego Christian Film Festival's Director's Circle!

This year's inaugural festival is scheduled Dec. 27-30, 2010, at San Diego State University's Performing Arts Plaza.

WHY WAS SDCFF FORMED?

We believe there is a growing need for films that communicate values that are in agreement with those who seek to honor God and that a film festival dedicated to this principle will succeed in San Diego.

We are dedicated to supporting films that uplift, inspire and are family-oriented while respecting and promoting the Christian message of redemption. In a postmodern world, we aim to Bring Film to Light.

In addition, we wish to involve the Christian community in a distinctive event to celebrate the Christian life in a family-friendly event at the time in which we traditionally gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

WHAT IS SDCFF DOING NOW?

Planning for the San Diego Christian Film Festival began in fall 2009.  Since then, we have gathered

* Film entries from all over the United States and overseas.
* Four industry professionals as film jurors.
* Associations with a number of Hollywood-based Christian ministries, included Hollywood Prayer Network, ActOne, and Hollywood Connect.
* A fiscal partnership with the San Diego-based Media Arts Center (MAC), a recognized 501(c)3 organization, which acts as our sponsorship administrator ensuring full accountability for donations.
* A marketing alliance with the San Diego Performing Arts League (SDPAL).
* Connections to the San Diego Film Commissions, the Cinema Society of San Diego, and a number of other San Diego County film festivals.

WHAT DOES SDCFF NEED NOW?

Glass Sea Productions has purposefully chosen to be a faith-based organization that builds relationships and networks with like-minded supporters.

We are seeking 100 individuals and/or organizations who share in our belief that Christian involvement in media and filmmaking is an important and effective way to reach the unsaved.

You can partner with us in this important work by donating $500 and joining the SDCFF Director's Circle. All proceeds received will be used to defray festival expenses. The executive team and all staff are working without compensation.

By joining the SDCFF Director's Circle, you will receive

* The official SDCFF Director's Circle award inscribed with your name and role.
* One ticket to the SDCFF Gala Celebration, and to the special pre-Gala reception for Director's Circle members only (a $75 value).
* Special recognition at the Gala Celebration.
* One full festival guest pass (a $150 value).
* Prominent recognition in the official SDCFF program and on screen in theatres.

If you agree that visual media is one of the most powerful influences in our culture today; if you agree that Christians must be active in that media; if you want to help launch an event that can change society -- please, consider joining the SDCFF Director's Circle with your $500 donation.
