Closing Day - Fri Dec 30, 2011

The last day of the festival SDCFF is proud to host a special master's screenwriting class followed by a roundtable discussion sponsored by Movieguide.Org and including past winners of the prestigious Epiphany Screenwriting Prize. These award winning screenwriters will tell us about their experiences in the entertainment field as that most rare of individuals, the award winning screenwriter.

The master's class in screenwriting will introduce the attendants to the information they will need to craft powerful stories in ways that will have the best chance of being accepted by Hollywood readers and producers. Screenwriting is one of the most difficult forms of creative writing and you will want to attend this special class to learn from screenwriting masters directly about how to craft your winning screenplay.

The Epiphany Screenwriting prize is awarded each year by Movieguide and the sponsorship of the John Templeton Foundation for Spiritually Uplifing Screenplays. During this roundtable we will hear from people directly involved in the film industry about the state of affairs in faith-based film creation and about the two seemingly disparate worlds of the Christian faith and Hollywood film industry. Sure to be enlightening.
