We are happy to report that the response to the first annual San Diego Christian Film Festival December 27-30 went way beyond our expectations! We're grateful for the support of every film-goer, VIP and volunteer who attended!
The atmosphere was electric! The lobby was never empty, every screening had an audience, filmmakers and industry pros had opportunities to network, on-fire musical performers entertained us, we gobbled up good food, and the red carpet was busy!
Attendance was estimated at 1000-1200 over the four days. Many attendees, including film industry experts, expressed that the festival was one of the best organized events of this type they have attended.
The closing night awards gala was a night of exciting musical entertainment and recognition of the excellent films that were submitted. Film industry experts in attendance included Ken Wales, Corbin Bernsen, Simon Swart, Mark Clayman, Dan Rupple and Dr. Alan Hueth.
A special thanks to Risen Media, Chick-fil-A Mira Mesa, M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records, KPRZ/KCBQ, KURS Gospel Radio, Christian Examiner, Good News Etc., Walking On Water, Collaboration Reverberation, Media Fellowship International, the San Diego Film Commission, SAT 7, Hollywood Prayer Network, The Rock Church, Professional Women's Network, and all our wonderful vendors!
As soon as we know, we'll let you know the dates for 2011, so get those entries ready! Submissions for the 2011 season will be accepted through WithoutABox.com as they were for the 2010 season.
