The San Diego Christian Film Festival is pleased to announce the participation of a very special guest speaker for the SDCFF Awards Gala.

Mark Clayman will be the keynote speaker for the gala, which will be held December 26, 2010. The first annual SDCFF will run December 27-30 at San Diego State University (www.sdchristianfilmfestival.com).

Clayman, the executive producer of the 2006 hit movie, The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Will Smith, has a current project with ties to San Diego.

Along with Ralph Winter (“X-Men" franchise; “Fantastic Four”), he is producing the film adaption of Same Kind of Different as Me: A Modern-Day Slave, an International Art Dealer, and the Unlikely Woman Who Bound Them Together, co-written by Lynn Vincent, a San Diego-based writer. Samuel L. Jackson has signed to star in it.

Mark Clayman lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Marlene, and their two children.
